1 killed, 7 suffered CO poisoning in E Kazakhstan region

UST-KAMENOGORSK. KAZINFORM - Over the past day 7 people suffered carbon monoxide poisoning in East Kazakhstan region.
Three people aged 58, 59 and 82 have been hospitalized in hospitals of Semey city. An 82-year-old woman has died. Another four people, including three children, were poisoned by carbon monoxide in Ushbiik village, Zharma area. Doctors estimate the children's state as mild. However, their 28-year-old mother is in serious condition.
All cases of carbon monoxide poisoning are associated with faulty stoves, the regional Emergency Department reports.
