1 dies, 8 injured in massive car crash in Almaty region

TALDYKORGAN. August 6. KAZINFORM A road accident happened on 39 km of Almaty-Kokpek-Koktal highway near Saimasai village in Almaty region Monday evening.
At first, VAZ-2105 and Nissan cars collided on the motorway and, then, Toyota Camry vehicle ran into Zhiguli car that was trying to avoid the collision with the first two vehicles. A 40-year-old woman, a passenger of Zhiguli, died on the way to a hospital. Eight people were injured, including three drivers, and hospitalized.
The police have initiated an investigation into the accident.
