1 800 surgeries performed in Kazakhstan daily

ASTANA. January 21. KAZINFORM More than 1 800 surgeries are performed on a day-to-day basis at in-patient hospitals in Kazakhstan, according to Vice Minister of Healthcare Erik Baizhunusov.
In his words, above 2.7 million people are admitted to hospitals across the country each year. 713 thousand surgeries are carried out at the hospitals per year.
"About 1850 surgeries are performed each day at the hospitals. Our surgeons work tirelessly - on weekends and holidays," E. Baizhunusov elaborated.
