1 674 people found job – Kokshetau

SHETAU. July 27. KAZINFORM /Zhanmurat Zhanaidarov/ 1 674 people have been employed in Akmola region for the first half of the year against similar period of the last year that is up to10 per cent higher; Kazinform reports.
From 2 545 unemployed 1 556 are village residents. 1 296 found jobs, 40 were forwarded for retraining courses and 338 engaged in public works.
According to the regional administration of employment 19 enterprises stopped their activity, 2 771 people were transferred on shortened working day, whereas 224 are on leave without pay. The most part of unemployed are in Kokshetau, Stepnogorsk towns as well as in Atbassar, Schuchinsk and Tselinograd districts.
