Zharkent to host International conference on near-border cooperation

The conference aims at familiarization of the participants with the activity of "Horgos" International Centre of Near-border Cooperation. A visit to the Chinese side of the Centre is planned. Topical issues of international cooperation, international tourism, transport and logistics are expected to be discussed. Creation of a single databank and ensuring control over departure and arrival of the citizens to the Centre is to be considered as well.

Heads of some ministries of Kazakhstan, regional akimats, local executive bodies, national companies, SCO secretariat, Ministry of Commerce of China, XUAR of the People's Republic of China, Atameken National Economic Chamber, Commerce and Industry Chamber, Kazinvest Kazakhstan Investment Promotion Center, banks and potential investors will gather for the event.
