Z. Diyas advanced to second round of women's doubles at Australian Open

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Tennis player from Kazakhstan Zarina Diyas playing with Chanelle Scheepers from the RSA advanced to the second round at the Australian Open, Sports.kz informs.
To advance to the second round Z. Diyas and C. Scheepers had to top Darija Jurak (CRO) and Megan Moulton-Levy (USA) and they managed to squeeze into the next round after three sets - 4:6, 6:4, 6:6 (7:5). A pair of tennis players from Kazakhstan and the RSA will face Julia Goerges (GER) and Anna-Lena Groenefeld from Germany next.
