Yulia Timoshenko summoned to Prosecutor-General Office

KIEV. April 6. KAZINFORM Yulia Timoshenko, Ukraine's ex-premier and the leader of the bloc of her name, BYT, was summoned to the Prosecutor-General Office where she is expected to give explanations of her statements about judges of the Constitutional Court being bribed to make a positive decision on legality of creating a new coalition in the Supreme Rada, Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.

"After I told a news conference last week about corruption and the sums of money offered to judges of the Constitutional Court to sanctify the present coalition I received a subpoena to the Prosecutor-General Office in this connection," Timoshenko told a news conference on Tuesday.

On March 11, the factions of the Party of Regions, the Communist Party, Litvin's Bloc and 16 individual deputies formed in parliament "Stability and Reforms" coalition. The opposition holds it is only factions that can form a coalition, Kazinform cites Itar-Tass. See www.itar-tass.com
