Yulia Putintseva propels to second round of 2024 Ningbo Open in China

World No. 32 Yulia Putintseva of Kazakhstan has advanced to the second round of the 2024 Ningbo Open in China, Kazinform News Agency has learned from Sports.kz.
The Kazakh athlete defeated American Caroline Dolehide (ranked 100th) with a score of 6:2, 6:0. Putintseva did not lose a single game after the score 0:2 in the first set. The match lasted one hour and seven minutes.
In the second round Putintseva will clash with the winner of China's Yafan Wang and Brazil's Beatriz Haddad Maia clash.
