Young pianist from Kazakhstan takes Cannes by storm

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Pianist from Kokshetau Alina Galiyeva stunned prestigious international music competition in Cannes, France.
The young musician scored the biggest number of points in Classic piano category and received the 1st degree diploma of the Young Cannes Stars contest. On her way to Cannes, Alina performed in 19 cities of 5 countries - Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Italy and France. She met a lot of young talented vocalists, musicians, dancers, and artists from Russia, France and Kazakhstan as well. She is expected to partake in the grand final of the competition in Saint Petersburg, Russia in October 2014.
