Yelena Khrustaleva captures gold in biathlon 15 km individual

TALDYKORGAN. February 4. KAZINFORM /Sandugash Duissenova/ Today silver medalist of the Vancouver Olympic Games Yelena Khrustaleva has become a winner in women's biathlon 15 km individual race.
The result of the champion of the 7th Asian Games who missed twice was 53 minutes 16.8 seconds.
Japan's Suzuki Fuyuko who was 1 minute 14.9 seconds behind the winner snatched silver.
Kazakhstan's Marina Lebedeva who comitted 3 misses occupied the third place. She lost by 4.6 seconds to the Japanese athlete.
The competitions were held at the ski-biathlon stadium at the Soldiers' gorge near Almaty.
