Year of Korea to be held in Kazakhstan in 2011

SEOUL. April 22. KAZINFORM /Yernur Akanbay/ In 2011 Kazakhstan will mark the Year of South Korea.
"Our bilateral relations will be expanded in all directions. Yesterday we opened the Year of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Korea. In 2011 the Year of Korea will be marked in Kazakhstan", Leader of South Korea Lee Myung-bak said at the press conference today.
According to Lee Myung-bak various activities which are expected to deepen cooperation and mutual understanding between the countries will be organized within the Year of Korea in Kazakhstan.
"I hope, by 2012 when we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Korea our ties will raised to a higher level", Lee Myung-bak added.
