Yahoo Sports names Gennady Golovkin Boxer of the Year

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani WBA/WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin has been crowned as the Boxer of the Year by Yahoo Sports, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
There were a lot of good performances this year, but no other fighter stood out like GGG. Golovkin was 3:0 in 2014, knocking out Osumanu Adama in the seventh round, ex-world champion Daniel Geale in the third round and Marco Antonio Rubio in the second one. Earlier it was reported that GGG will vie against Martin Murray in Monaco on February 21.
