Y. Kazykhanov to have number of bilateral meetings in Brussels
ASTANA. July 18. KAZINFORM The ministerial meetings of the EU - OSCE Troika will be held today in Brussels. The participation of High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton, Foreign Ministers of Lithuania and Ireland is expected, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informs.
As Foreign Ministry spokesman Ilyas Omarov said the issues regarding preparation for the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Vilnius, renewal of the negotiations in the 5+2 format on Transnistia, support of democratic processes in southern Mediterranean region and other issues are to be discussed during the meeting.
Besides, bilateral meetings of Yerzhan Kazykhanov with Catherine Ashton, OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Azhubalis and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Ireland Eamon Gilmore are planned within the framework of the event.
