WSB: Astana Arlans topple Italia Thunder in Almaty

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Astana Arlans have defeated Italia Thunder 3:2 in Group B of the World Series of Boxing (WSB) and won all six of their Season V fixtures so far, Kazinform has learnt from Sports.kz.
The Baluan Sholak Sports Palace in Almaty was chosen as the venue for the Group B fights. Temirtas Zhussupov (Light fly) and Askhat Ualikhanov (Light Welter) were crashed by Patrick Barnes and Vincenzo Mangiacarpe in their respective fights. Kairat Yeraliyev (Bantam) edged out Michael Conlon 2:1. Meiirim Nursultanov (Middle) and Vassiliy Levit (Heavy) had perhaps the most impressive 3:0 wins over Raffaele Munno and Endri Spahiu respectively. On March 7 Astana Arlans will face Caciques Venezuela.
