Would-be Aktobe metallurgic plant has potential consumers - K. Shadiyev
ANA. July 4. KAZINFORM. /Serik Sabekov/ There are potential consumers of production of metallurgic plant using the third generation technologies that is planned to be constructed in Aktobe. Chairman of the Board of "SBS Group" Kabul Shadiyev has made it public at a press conference in the Astana "Rixos" Hotel.
"Haris Group company is ready to sign a contract on purchase of 100% of planned production of the metallurgic plant using the third generation technologies. Its construction is scheduled for this year. Besides, we work with the local producers as "KazFerroStal", "Mittal Steel Temirtau", K. Shadiyev said.
Construction will be realized by Kazakhstan's "SBS Steel" LLC. The capacity will amount to 500,000 tons of granulated iron using ITmk3® (Ironmaking Technology Mark Three). The project that costs USD 480 million is planned to be realized within the state program "30 corporate leaders".
