World’s most expensive book sells for $14 mn

NEW YORK. November 27. KAZINFORM - The first book printed in what is today the United States sold for nearly $14.2 million at auction in New York on Tuesday, Sotheby’s said, becoming the world’s most expensive book.
The translation of Biblical psalms “The Bay Psalm Book” was printed by Puritan settlers in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1640 and was offered at a one-lot auction by Sotheby’s.
