On October 30, world-famous virtuoso violinist and Goodwill Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Marat Bisengaliev gave an unusual concert at the Astana Opera. According to Marat Bisengaliev, “quad sound” means placing orchestra and choir groups not only on the stage, but also in specially prepared acoustic areas of the hall.

"It was a successful experiment, because I myself could not believe to what extent the sound from all the points of the hall, which is concentrated in the stalls, affects a  person. That was a real sound show. Now, if you have ever listened to quad Hi-fi sound, let us say, at home, it is great. But when I listened to it in the hall, I realized that it was beyond my expectations,” said the musician.

"This show is very grandiose, and it is not easy to organize it. A large number of people were involved in it. It is very difficult to bring everyone together and to find people interested in it. Therefore, I am very  grateful to the Ministry of Culture,  Aida Balaeva, the Mayor's Office, and the Astana Opera,” said Marat Bisengaliev.

The highlight of the evening was talented saxophonist Arukhat Mussaipov, who was joined by the multi-instrumentalists Serik Nurmoldayev, Anar Kassymova, Abzal Arykbayev and Askar Soltangazin. An special emphasis was also placed on the choral parts. Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Beimbet Demeuov led the Astana Opera Choir with particular inspiration.
