World crisis did not affect Kazakh-Austrian economic relations - B.Prammer

ENNA. October 11. KAZINFORM /Timur Bekturganov/ Kazakh Senate Chairman Kairat Mami has met with President of the Austrian National Council Barbara Prammer in Vienna within a working visit to Austria.

The speakers discussed prospects of deepening interparliamentary interaction of the two countries, noting presence of the current basis for expansion of the Kazakh-Austrian partnership in this sphere.

The sides highly estimated creation of special working groups of "friendship and cooperation" in the structure of legislative bodies.

"We are confident that in close interaction parliamentary cooperation groups can ensure maximum implementation of the potential of bilateral relations," the Kazakh Senate Speaker said.

In this connection K.Mami and B.Prammer outlined a key role of meetings of authorities of Kazakhstan and Austria, which give additional impetus to strengthening political dialogue and economic partnership.

"It should be noted that the world crisis did not affect the Kazakh-Austrian economic relations," the Austrian Parliament Speaker said.

K.Mami invited Barbara Prammer to visit Kazakhstan for further strengthening political-economic and cultural relations as well as development of interparliamentary ties.
