World celebrates Day in Support of Victims of Torture

ALMATY. June 26. KAZINFORM On the 26th of June the world annually celebrates the United Nations International Day in Support of Victims of Tortures.
In 1997, upon the recommendation of the UN Economic and Social Council, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed the 26th of June the International Day in Support of Victims of Tortures.
This day is marked to pay our respect to those who have endures tortures.
