World boxing legend Roy Jones extends best wishes to Kazakhstan on Independence Day
ASTANA. KAZINFORM Legendary boxer Roy Jones, Jr. has arrived in the capital of Kazakhstan - Astana and took part in the press conference held at the Saryarka cycle race track.
"Today, December 16, Kazakhstan celebrates its Independence Day. I would like to congratulate all Kazakhstanis on the 23rd independence anniversary! I like Kazakhstan. Your country's is very hospitable. I would like to express my gratitude to all Kazakhstanis and people who invited me. I like Astana," Roy Jones said. As earlier reported, Jones and Oleg Maskaev, a native of Kazakhstan, will take part in the international boxing tournament in memory of prominent Kazakhstani coach Galym Zharylgapov in Karaganda.
