World Bank provides $20mln loan to Kazakhstan for statistical system improvement

TANA. August 23. KAZINFORM World Bank provides a loan of USD 20 million to Kazakhstan for improving the country's statistical system, Chairman of Kazakhstan Statistics Agency Alikhan Smailov told Kazinform on Tuesday.
According to him, this money is intended to improve the institutional environment and operational support of the statistical system, improve information and communication systems, statistical infrastructure, standards and methodologies, develop human capacity and improve work with users and respondents.
