MINSK. October 1. KAZINFORM The world artistic holograms exhibition Holography 2011 was a success in Minsk last year. It gathered over 100,000 visitors. Collected by Belarusian holography artists, the exhibition will be re-opened in Astana, Kazakhstan on 5 October, the organizers told BelTA.
Available previously in exhibition halls of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Minsk collection comprised the world's largest number of artistic holograms on display ever - over 150 works from 20 countries. Guests were so impressed that the organizers were invited to arrange the exhibition abroad.
In Kazakhstan over 170 holograms from 20 countries will be put on display, with Belarusian holograms constituting one third of the works. Those have been made by the Belarusian companies Magiya Sveta (light magic) and Holography Industry. Some works will be put on display for the first time such as the First Belarusian Satellite.
The exhibition will be held in the cultural and educational complex School Students Palace in Astana. Just like the Belarusian exhibition the exhibition in Astana has been collected under the supervision of the Belarusian scientist Leonid Tanin, an academician of the International Engineering Academy, BelTA informs.
Among the organizers of the exhibition are the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Belarusian companies OOO Magiya Sveta and ZAO Holography Industry. The exhibition will take place with assistance of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Belarus, the Industry and New Technologies Ministry of Kazakhstan, and the Science Committee of the Education and Science Ministry of Kazakhstan.
