Women's rights - key factor on global security agenda - Ban Ki-moon

ASTANA. November 30. KAZINFORM /Narynbek Ismagulov/ UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon called on to send 15 percent of funds allocated for post-conflict recovery for provision of women's rights.

Ban Ki-moon noted that within his report on participation of women in peace keeping processes he represented to the UN Security Council plan to fully realize the resolution No 1325 'Women, Peace and Security'.

'This plan ensures ways of improvement of women's life who have problems. It demonstrates women's rights as key factor on the global security agenda. A threat to women is a threat to everybody', he added.

'My plan was approved by all the UN Organizations', Ban Ki-moon said.
