Woman who left toddler daughter in clinic comes to police
ASTANA. November 21. KAZINFORM - A mother of a 1,5 months old girl who was left in another's baby carriage in a clinic of Ekibastuz town came to the police station, according to the press service of the Internal Affairs of Pavlodar region.
She told the policemen that she lives in the town of Balkhash and has arrived in Ekibastuz to visit relatives. She left the child in the clinic ostensibly because of a difficult financial situation but then she decided to return her little daughter. The court will decide if the child will be returned to the woman.
The police together with the city Department of Education are preparing materials to deprive women of their parental rights. Pending the decision of the court the girl will remain in the pediatric ward of the city hospital.
