Woman sentenced to 4 years in jail for killing newborn

ATYRAU. KAZINFORM - A woman, who threw her newborn daughter into a dump well in Sagiz village, Atyrau region, has been sentenced to four years in jail.
It bears to remind that in July 23 of the current year one of the residents of Sagiz village found a plastic bag with a newborn baby in a cesspool. The newborn girl was still alive. She was taken to the regional maternity hospital. However, the newborn has received serious injuries and died. Soon police have identified the child's mother - A.Mansurova, aged 33. During the trial the defendant pleaded guilty to the crime.
