Woman presenter wears Islamic headscarf on Egyptian TV

CAIRO. September 3. KAZINFORM For the first time in fifty years a woman presenter has appeared on Egyptian state television wearing an Islamic headscarf.
Under the Mubarak regime there was an unofficial ban on women covering their hair and most were given jobs away from the cameras. The presenter, Fatima Nabil said the revolution had reached broadcasting, the euronews reports.
