Woman falls from 5th floor at attempt of robbery

According to South Kazakhstan police, two women, 19 and 60, were hospitalized with various injuries in Shymkent. The elder woman told the police she was attacked at her apartment by an unknown younger woman who beat her with a rolling pin and a tabouret. After that the thief picked up jewelry worth KZT 100 000 and was about to leave the crime scene when a neighbor knocked on the door. The neighbor was concerned with the suspicious noise and cried she called the police.

The young woman tried to flee the scene of the robbery through balcony and fell from the 5^th floor by accident. Right now the unsuccessful burglar is at the intensive care unit. The police say she is unemployed. The investigation has been initiated.
