Woman fails to smuggle large sum of cash to China

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakh-Chinese border guards have detained a citizen of Kazakhstan with undeclared sum of money, the press service of the Border Service of National Security Committee informs.
"Khorgos" border guards detained a 45-year-old woman, citizen of Kazakhstan, who was heading to the International Centre for cross-border cooperation. Kazakhstani officials conducting a random search found $37,000 in undeclared currency in the woman's handbag.
