Wintry weather to persist in Kazakhstan on Sunday

According to Kazhydromet, snow, fogs, ground blizzard, and stiff wind have taken hold of most regions of the country, except for western Kazakhstan. Ground blizzard and strong wind gusting up to 15-20 m per s are expected in Pavlodar, Akmola, Kostanay, and Karaganda regions today. Wind will also strengthen up to 22 m per sec in West Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan, Almaty, Zhambyl, South Kazakhstan and Kyzylorda regions. Almaty and Zhambyl regions will be steeped in fog.
