TANA. October 5. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The whole territory of Kazakhstan is to be covered by CDMA network by 2015, more than 900 base stations will function. Kazakh Minister of Communications and Information Askar Zhumagaliyev has announced at a meeting with members of the Senate's Committee on Economic and Regional Policy.
"Jointly with service providers we are introducing several new technologies - both wire and wireless," A.Zhumagaliyev said.
According to him, the programs which are under implementation are aimed at provision of every Kazakhstani family with broadband Internet and telephone communication. At present wireless technology of broadband access to the Internet and CDMA is under introduction in rural area.
