ASTANA. September 30. KAZINFORM During the II Islamic conference of healthcare ministers, started today in Astana, the WHO Regional Bureau for Europe and Kazakh Healthcare Ministry signed a two-year agreement on cooperation to support the country's healthcare development, the Ministry's press service said.
The top priorities of cooperation are a new "Health 2020" European healthcare policy, strengthening of public health service system and non-communicable diseases prevention with an emphasis on healthy lifestyle, infectious diseases, public health safety and environment, information exchange, statistics, development of scientific research and implementation of innovations into pubic healthcare.
