He began his address by declaring, “America is back” which was met with applause from Republican members.

During his speech, Trump reflected on his electoral victory and acknowledged the challenges posed by Democratic opposition. He remarked, “Once again, I look at the Democrats in front of me and I realize there is absolutely nothing I can say to make them happy, or to make them stand or smile or applaud. Nothing I can do.”

The President praised his administration’s efforts in swiftly deporting illegal immigrants, emphasizing that many were criminals. He highlighted the implementation of “the most sweeping border and immigration enforcement measures in American history.”

Trump proposed the introduction of a “Golden Card” program, offering foreign nationals the opportunity to obtain U.S. residency by investing $5 million, with the expectation that they would contribute to the tax base.

In economic reforms, the President expressed a desire to make interest payments on auto loans tax-deductible, but specified this would apply “only if the car is made in America” aiming to boost the domestic automotive industry.

He urged Congress, particularly Democrats, to vote for tax cuts for “everyone” as part of the Republican Party’s budget plan in the House of Representatives. Additionally, he called for the elimination of taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security benefits.

Addressing legislative priorities, Trump requested the enactment of laws mandating the death penalty for those who kill police officers, criminalizing gender transition procedures for minors, repealing the CHIPS and Science Act passed during the Biden administration, and allocating funds for a missile defense system to protect U.S. airspace.

The President reiterated his intention to reclaim the Panama Canal, asserting it was built by Americans. He also extended an invitation to the residents of Greenland, stating, “We strongly support your right to determine your own future, and, should you choose, we welcome you into the United States of America.”

Trump continued, “We need Greenland for national and international security, and we’re working with all parties to make it happen. It's a small population on a vast, strategic piece of land, critical for military defense. We will keep you safe, make you prosperous, and take Greenland to heights you’ve never imagined.”

Regarding the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, Trump noted significant losses of young people on both sides and emphasized the U.S. position on halting the conflict. He mentioned receiving “strong signals” from Russia about a desire to make peace.

In closing, the President shared his vision for America's future, aiming to create a high standard of living, build the safest, wealthiest, and healthiest society globally, achieve remarkable advancements in science, venture into space, and plant the American flag on Mars.

“We are going to conquer the vast frontiers of science, and we are going to lead humanity into space and plant the American flag on the planet Mars, and even far beyond. And through it all, we are going to rediscover. The unstoppable power of the American spirit and we are going to renew unlimited promise of the American dream,” Trump concluded.
