«Western Europe-Western China» highway section construction completed in Aktobe rgn

ASTANA. November 1. KAZINFORM - Today "Northern bypass of the Aktobe city" road (39.3 kilometers) has been commissioned in Aktobe region. Thus Aktobe section of "Western Europe-Western China" international transport corridor's construction was completed.
The construction of the northern bypass was started in 2011 with a contract value of KZT 12.1 billion. The new bypass road is of strategic importance for Aktobe as it allows transit traffic to continue the route without entering the regional center.
Akim of the region Arkhimed Mukhambetov noted that Aktobe region is the first in the country which has completed the construction of "Western Europe-Western China" highway.
