Week of Goods started from Day of Hugs in Karaganda

KARAGANDA. May 12. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ A Week of Goods started in Karaganda from the Day of Hugs.
The youth of the city walked down the central avenues of Karaganda offering strangers to embrace. "We wish people to have more positiveness and optimism in their lives and we could smile to each other oftener", the organizers said.
Karaganda residents borrowed the idea of the Week of Goods in Almaty. Similar campaigns are popular in Russian cities as well. There exists Free Hugs international movement.
Volunteers of "Step Forward" social group initiated the campaign in Karaganda.
