ASTANA. March 31. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ "We will monitor the elections professionally and objectively," Secretary General of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Spencer Oliver told journalists after the meeting with Secretary of State - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev.
"We talked about the future of the OSCE and I congratulated the Minister on successful presidency in the OSCE. I also noted that the Summit of the Organization that was held in Astana was very important," S. Oliver said.
Besides, he noted that there were more than 80 representatives from the parliaments of different states who had great experience in monitoring the elections and had successfully been through the elections themselves. Therefore, according to him, these observers will carry out this mission with a success.
S. Oliver also said that he would provide his report on the course of the elections on April 4, in the evening.
