'We have a tradition between our countries in sphere of education' - British Ambassador D. Moran
ASTANA. September 26. KAZINFORM An exhibition of the British education "Knowledge is Great Britain" is taking place in Astana. The aim of the event is to familiarize Kazakh teachers, students and their parents with the capacities and advantages of the education in Britain. More than 40 leading British universities take part in this event.
The attendees have a unique chance to get information about the subsidies, scholarships, business education programs for students of all ages and so on.
"We have a tradition between our countries in the educational sphere. Many Kazakhstanis study or work in England. Sustainable partnership between the Nazarbayev University and the University of London has been established," Ambassador of Great Britain to Kazakhstan David Moran told to a Kazinform correspondent.
"I am pleased that our countries collaborate not only in the political field. We learn more about each other due to such scientific and cultural ties. We also cooperate in the business sphere. Besides, a lot of British tourists visit Kazakhstan, and many British people work and live in your country," the Ambassador added.
"I believe, there will be more such events in the future," D. Moran concluded.
