Water tariffs to grow in three regions of Kazakhstan

ASTANA. June 1. KAZINFORM From July 1, 2013 the tariffs for water supply and sewerage will be increased in three regions of Kazakhstan - East Kazakhstan, Karaganda, South Kazakhstan, Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies Amanzhol Alpysbayev told a briefing on Friday, Kazinform refers to primeminister.kz.
In addition, the rates will grow in the cities of Ust-Kamenogorsk and Zhezkazgan.
According to Alpysbayev, the reasons of tariff increase are the increase in the cost of electricity, chemical reagents, repair works.
