Water resources development to require some KZT 2 trn

There are more than 400 water reservoirs in Kazakhstan, Kazakh Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Nurzhan Nurzhigitov said at the Government's meeting on Tuesday.
The development of the package plan approved by each local executive body for carrying out all works, including construction and reconstruction of water reservoirs, irrigation systems, digitalization, and water-efficient processes will require some 2 trillion tenge.
As earlier reported, Kazakh Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Nurzhan Nurzhigitov presented the draft Water Resources Management System Development Concept for 2024-2030.
