Waste recycling facility to be launched in Astana

ASTANA. May 16. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ The first garbage recycling plant in Astana is scheduled for commissioning in September this year. Akim (Mayor) of the capital Imangali Tasmagambetov informed of it via his blog.
Technology of the leading Spanish manufacturer of recycling equipment IMABE IBERICA will be used at the facility. The total cost of the construction amounted to KZT 4 billion.
After the launch the amount of solid waste will be reduced by 50%.
Besides, the project will allow to create 300 new jobs.
