Volume of transported cargo increased by 8,4% in Astana
ASTANA. December 3. KAZINFORM - Over 10 months of the current year the volume of transported cargo increased by 8,4% in comparison with the similar period of 2012. This information was given to astana.kz by the metropolitan Department of statistics.
“Over January-October 2013 (considering evaluation of cargo transportation by non-transport organizations and natural persons who have freight transport and are engaged in commercial transportations) 97 217,6 tons of cargo were transported; the total cargo turnover amounted to 5 494,2 million tons-kilometer”, - it is reported in the message.
It’s also worth noting that car transport of the city including transportation by individual entrepreneurs transported 1 607,1 million passengers over January-October of the current year, including private transport enterprises of the city - 281,5 million people (17,5%), individual entrepreneurs - 1 325,6 million people (82,5%).
