Voice of Steppe to vie for Eurasia Film Festival top honors

ALMATY. KAZINFORM "Voice of Steppe directed by Kazakhstan's Yermek Shinarbyev in partnership with French actor Gerard Depardieu will vie for the top awards of the X Eurasia Film Festival," head of Kazakhfilm JSC Yermek Amanshayev said.
The festival will be held on September 15-20 in Almaty under the aegis of the 100th anniversary of Shaken Aimanov. 12 movies were selected from 180 submissions from 30 countries for dispaly at the main program of the festival.
