Starting February 9, citizens of Israel and Ukraine are able to travel between the countries without visas for the period of up to 90 days.

Israel hopes that the number of Ukrainian tourists in 2011 will increase by 40% against the previous year and exceed 140,000 people following the cancellation of the visa regulations.

The Israeli economy is expected to receive some $100 million from such increase in the number of tourists. Kazinform cites Xinhua. See www.xinhuanet.com for full version
