Vincenzo Nibali meets aspiring cyclists in Astana (PHOTOS)
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Students of the Children's Sports School #6 have met with ProTeam Astana cyclists in Kazakhstan's capital - Astana today.
The aspiring athletes had a wonderful opportunity to meet face to face with the 2014 Tour de France winner Vincenzo Nibali, the first Italian to win the race in 16 years, and the most decorated cyclist in Kazakhstan Alexander Vinokurov and other members of the team. Children asked a lot of questions about the three-week race and its most exciting moments. Nibali gladly answered the questions and wished the young cyclists success in the future. ProTeam Astana are expected to partake in a special race in Borovoye resort area on Saturday (August 23). On Sunday, they will ride through the streets of the capital as part of another race for local fans.
