Victory Parade starts on Moscow's Red Square

MOSCOW. May 9. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ The Parade Devoted to the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War begins on the Red Square in Moscow these minutes.

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev together with the other Heads of State takes part in the Parade.

For the first time the Victory Parade takes place both in Moscow and other 36 cities of Russia. The State Flag of Russia and the Banner of Victory in the Great Patriotic War will be brought in the Red Square at the start of the Parade.

Colonel General Valery Gerasimov, the commander of the Moscow Military District commands the Parade and Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov reviews the troops.

A total of 127 aircrafts will fly over the Red Square.
