Vice PM: Pessimistic forecasts of mass layoff did not prove to be true

ANA. July 20. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Local executives' pessimistic forecasts on mass layoff of 136 000 workers did not prove to be true, Vice PM Yerbol Orynbayev said.
"Since April the number of part-time workers has been reduced twofold - from 84 000 to 43 000. Within the Road Map's realization administrators of the national budget programs received KZT 45 bln, local budgets received KZT 20 bln for provision people with jobs", the Vice Premier noted and added that in accordance with the local executive bodies, KZT 63 bln have been utilized as of July 13.
