VI Eurasian Forum KAZENERGY kicks off in Astana

For two days, heads of state agencies of various countries and multinational energy corporations, along with world-renowned and reputable experts will exchange views and experience on topical issues of the future development of oil and gas industry in the Eurasian and global space.

The sixth forum is timed to the 20^th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence. The following issues are in the list of the main topics: "A steady model of development of oil and gas and energy sectors - adequate global system of energy efficiency"; "The new perspectives for oil and gas industry development: innovation and investing in the new technologies"; "The Industrial-Innovation Development of Kazakhstan: the growth of the local content".

Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov, KAZENERGY Association Chairman, Chairman of "SamrukKazyna" National Welfare Fund Tumir Kulibayev, EU Energy Commissioner Günther Oettinger are expected to give speeches at the opening ceremony. Larry King, former host of CNN's talk show Larry King Live, moderates the VI KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum.
