VHL: «Kazzinc-Torpedo» beats the Russian «Yuzhniy Ural»
ASTANA. December 28. KAZINFORM - "Kazzinc-Torpedo" has won over "Yuzhniy Ural" from Orsk (Russia) in the regular season of the Supreme Hockey League (VHL), Vesti.kz reports.
The key events of the game turned in the second period. After 34 minutes the guests from Russia took the lead but after a few minutes Maksim Belyaev has tied the game. Eugeniy Rymarev delivered the second puck to the opponents' gates.
Nobody scored in the third period and the match ended 2-1 in favor of the hosts. With this victory "Kazzinc-Torpedo" has engaged the seventh place in the table. "Rubin" HC from Tyumen leads the championship having 66 points after 32 games.
Earlier, another representative of Kazakhstan - Karaganda "Sary-Arka" shootout snatched victory from Angarsk "Ermak". After the victory the wards of the Slovak Dusan Gregor have taken the third place.
