Veterans of Astana receive state awards
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Today, Mayor of Astana city Adilbek Dzhaksybekov has awarded veterans and home front workers of the Great Patriotic War with state awards of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On the eve of the 70th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War (GPW) and the Day of the Defender of the Fatherland Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the decree on awarding GPW veterans and home front workers. Today Astana Mayor Adilbek Dzhaksybekov presented "Parasat" order to Shagila Kussainova, the veteran of the Great Partiotic War, war veteran. "Kurmet" orders were given to war veteran Tezekpai Abdrakhmanov, Kadan Bekenov, Vladimir Kalsin, Mariya Poltoratsky, and the chairman of Astana city branch of "Organization of veterans" NGO Amangeldy Syzdykov. "Eren enbegi ushin" medals were awarded to veterans Baimuhan Abilov, Baktybai Almabek, Alexander Morunov, Sharip Rahymzharov, labor veteran Kali Mukataev, deputy chairman of "Organization of veterans" NGO Yesbulat Dyuissenov. Certificates of Merit of the Republic of Kazakhstan have been awarded to war veterans Sihymbai Mamyrov and Zhaniyaz Shalbulov. Mr.Dzhaksybekov wished the veterans peace, good health, and well-being.
