Varnishing day of two Kazakh Art Exhibitions to be held in Astana for the first time ever
ASTANA. November 19. KAZINFORM - For the first time ever on November 20 a varnishing day of an exhibition “Kazakh jewelry art gains the sympathy of children” and a personal mini exhibition by a famous fine art restorer Krym Altynbekov “Art of the Saka and the Scythians in the modernity” will take place in the Museum of Modern Art of Astana city, astana.kz reports.
The exhibition “Kazakh jewelry art gains the sympathy of children” involves 11 jewelers of our country. About 600 showpieces are presented at the exhibition: women, men and children’s jewelry, plaques, arms, men and women’s belts, domestic implements and others. The exhibition involves artists from Astana, Almaty, Karaganda and Shymkent. The exhibition by Krym Altynbekov will represent a lot of domestic implements of the Saka epoch. Krym Altynbekov is a fine art restorer, member of the Artists union of the Republic of Kazakhstan, completed practical training in the Louvre (Paris, France). He restored and reconstructed great cultural artifacts of the Saka epoch of IV-III centuries B.C.E.: “The Golden Man” from Issyk kurgan, “Sarmatian chief” from Araltobe, artifacts from the Mausoleum of Ahmed Yasawi in Turkestan. He recovered several thousands of findings of different epochs and cultures. Originals of his discoveries are stored in the largest museums of Kazakhstan, and reconstructions made by him have become a visiting card of the Kazakh history.
Masters create handiworks passing the mystery of the Kazakh jewelry art through their hands. These attires are not just decoration items, they tell the young generation about the life of nomads. In addition, on November 21 and 22 jewelers will hold free master classes for pupils of art schools of the city.
