Valentina Matviyenko: Inter-parliamentary dialogue with Kazakhstan is one of our priorities

Chairman of the Federation Council of Russia Valentina Matviyenko has stated during a meeting with Kazakh Senate Speaker Kairat Mami in Moscow today.

V.Matviyenko noted that recently the upper chambers of the Kazakh and Russian parliaments had facilitated cooperation. "The inter-parliamentary ties between Kazakhstan and Russia are enjoying a good dynamics at the moment. The agenda of the regular parliamentary meetings is full of topics of mutual interest," she added.

The Chairperson of the Federation Council also pointed out Kazakhstan's work on mapping out the models of inter-religious and inter-faith dialogue.
